Shared Construction Content (SCC) is free to use. There are no monthly subscription fees, credit/token-based systems nor account setup fees. We only earn our fees when we make you more revenue and your life easier or you have us perform virtual assistant or professional services work for you.
$49.00 per Participant for Math, Accounting and Delivery
To handle the math, accounting, reconciling and delivery of split-cost projects, SCC has a fee of $49.00 per cost-share participant. If a project has only one user, there's no charge. For instance, a project with a single user is free, but if there are two users, the total fee is $98.00. For a project with three users, the total fee would be $147.00. However, it is important to note, that if a project has 3 users, the $49.00 fee for user 2 and user 3, would be paid by those users and not the architectural photographer or filmmaker. The $49.00 fee would only be paid by the architectural photographer and filmmaker for the first client. Please note, the $49.00 fee would be US Dollars in the US but if, for example you are a Canadian user, it would be CAD$49.00 or if you were Australian it would be A$49.00.
Percent-based Success Fees are only charged on additional (incremental) revenue. Here's how it works:
If you start a project and bring in the commissioning party and two other parties, SCC won't charge any Success Fees on the services that those three participants selected. This is because their revenue isn't considered "incremental" – meaning you would have earned that revenue whether SCC was involved or not. For these three participants, only the $49.00 per participant flat fee for Math, Accounting, and Delivery applies. Services that are typically excluded from the percent-based Success Fees are the Creative Fee, Expenses, Travel and Retouching and Editing as well as the Licensing Fees of the commissioning party and other original parties.
However, if SCC systems assist in, or directly lead to, the addition of more split-cost participants to your project, then the "incremental" revenue created by those additional users might be subject to percent-based Success Fees. This is because their involvement and revenue are a direct result of SCC's systems. Typically only the Licensing Fees from the "incremental" participants are subject to the percent Success Fees.
Percent-based Success Fees are not compounding.
15% for Facilitation
SCC charges 15% anytime our systems faciliate incremental revenue. System such as our Universal Link would trigger this type of fee.
25% for Facilitation Through a Gallery
SCC charges 25% anytime our systems facilitate incremental revenue through one of our galleries. System such as our After The Fact Gallery would be subject to this fee.
35% for Direct Involvement
If you request SCC to become directly involved in a project to drive forward incremental participantion, licensing and revenue from start to finish, then SCC charges 35% on all revenues driven by SCC's hands on, white glove involvement. Note, this 35% is not the same as our Professional Services Fees for Direct Involvement.

Comparatively, our average Success Fees make us a better value than any other split-cost or architectural photography licensing options on the market. SCC is 15% cheaper than providers who are currently doing this manually off-line and charging 50%, 60%-40% cheaper than RenderBy’s 75% commission (additionally, we do not have you to sign over your copyright), up to 30%-70% cheaper than Shutterstock’s 65%-85% commissions and 35%-15% cheaper than Pixsy's 50% cut (also minus Pixsy's years long lead time...).
On all Virtual Assistant work SCC incurs a hard cost. For instance, when we handle tasks such as creating contact lists, cleaning data, running email campaigns, or drafting licensing agreements, there are associated expenses. This is because such tasks necessitate the expertise and involvement of our team, our partners, and other resources such as software systems. Therefore all virtual assistant and professional services work requested of SCC is billed on a time and materials basis to each of our partner photographers and filmmakers. For virtual assistant work a member of our team will provide you an estimate for services before work begins.
