Why Now: Why are We Selling to You from October Through March

I hope you enjoy reading this blog post.

If you want our team to just do your architectural photography for you, click here.

You are probably wondering right now why Shared Construction Content, a company that is supposed to know the architectural photography industry through and through, is selling to you in winter, during a time when… well… you aren’t exactly executing any architectural photography projects. It seems counter-productive, we know. Give us a chance, and we promise that you’ll see the method to our madness.

First, we are well aware that you probably spend the architectural photography off-season flying the globe, becoming the cultural connoisseurs we all know architectural photographers are. Just kidding, we know life isn’t that simple. But it is no secret that as architectural photographers, we have much more free time on our hands from October through March when it is cold, everything is grey, and, let's be honest, dead (beautiful in its own right, but here nor there). So why are we bothering you with a service you won’t be able to use heavily until April or May?

Well, the answer is quite simple, methodically and with care, we want to give you white-glove onboarding and professional services to set you up for success.

1. Onboarding and Training

  • We want you to become an expert on our system so that in high season you can leverage it as effectively as possible to increase and maximize your relationships.

2. Professional Services and Sales Team Switch

  • Come April, our sales team will flip to work entirely for you and sell your licenses for you.

Onboarding and Training, We Want You to Become Experts

The first reason is that we want to get you up to speed on the ins and outs of our system. Although we have been working tirelessly to design a software to make your lives as easy as possible, we know that all great things take time. And we have found that it takes about two weeks for our users to become experts on the system, opening a world of untapped opportunities to significantly increase their earnings potential while saving them time and headaches and strengthening their relationships. Overall, in April, we want you to hit the ground running with a fantastic piece of software once your projects start back up in the spring.

So, wouldn’t it be better to go through this onboarding process during a time when you aren’t spending all week on set? We think so too.

Professional Services and Sales Team Switch, We Will Be Working for You

The second reason is that come April, instead of selling to you, the Shared Construction Content sales team will flip to work entirely for you. That’s right, beyond automated software that manages split-cost projects, at the onset of the architectural photography season in April, our sales team will start to fight tooth and nail to get you as much value as possible from every project. That means we will tirelessly go through each and every contact list for a project and will take on the legwork of prospecting everyone who built a building and selling them licenses to your architectural photography. Thus, splitting the cost of your work with the original clients with as many of their partners as possible, generating more revenue while building better relationships for you.

So, during the months of April through September, while you will be busy doing what you do best, our focus will be on selling entirely for you.

Focus on What You Do Best

As business owners, we know what it’s like having to do it all. From accounting, financing, forecasting, and strategizing to prospecting, selling, billing, and all of the other time-demanding intricacies, we hardly have time to do what we actually love.

At Shared Construction Content, we bring you enterprise-level solutions at a fraction of the cost. Human sales teams, personalized sales systems (we send the emails, make the phone calls, do the work), and proven sales collateral that works – all for a small upfront cost. And the best news? By selling more licenses and making you more money, the SCC system pays for itself.

Focus on what you love doing – being an artist. Prospecting and selling are what we love.

What does getting onboarding entail:

  • Creating your account
  • Linking your bank account
  • Understanding and setting up your Role Routing

For example, in SCC, you’re able to hand-tailor experiences so that a large business like an Architecture Firm receives a different experience than a small company.

  • Understanding and setting up your Policies
  • Understanding and setting up your Questionnaires
  • Understanding and setting up Dynamic Pricing

What does all of this actually mean? It means that we make executing a split-cost project as easy as if there was only 1 client, and we ensure that no matter what, you get more opportunities to get paid more.
